Kendra Willouer

voice / dance / acting instructor (emphasis: musical theatre, jazz)


Kendra’s experience in voice and stage performance is extensive. At Rhythm Music and Performing Arts Studio, Kendra teaches voice, drama/musical arts, and dance. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre, Media, and Music from Marymount College of Fordham University in Tarrytown, New York.


Kendra has always been a performer who sings, acts, and dances from her heart. Throughout her childhood in Connecticut, Kendra was involved in numerous regional theatre productions and was a featured voiceover singer for children’s educational videos. Since then, Kendra has studied with London’s Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and has performed professionally with the Connecticut Cabaret Company in Berlin, CT, as well as Off-Broadway in New York City with The New York Revels Theatre Company.


Kendra has acted as Assistant Director of the New Town Trust’s children’s production of Alice in Wonderland and the Wizard of Oz at the Triangle Park. She has worked with The Center of Contemporary Arts (COCA), a community-based arts center, at which she was both an assistant teacher in the theatre arts program as well as a teacher in the musical theatre program. Kendra has been a vocal contest winner, featured soloist at many functions, including weddings, and can be seen from time to time entertaining at the Wine Bar in Newtown, where she shares her talent with local community.
