Jacquelyn (Jacki) Kleine 

flute / clarinet / saxophone /oboe / special needs instructor


Jacquelyn, a native St. Louisan, has been a Flute Instructor, Performer, Composer and Music Educator for many years. She holds a B.A. Music and Creative Arts from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA, and graduate studies in Special Education. Jacki has taught Band, led Flute Choirs, Expressive Music and Creative Arts groups and is the founder of “Native Spirit Winds” a greater St. Louis Native American Flute Circle.


At Rhythm Music and Performing Arts Studio, Jacquelyn’s Flute and other Music Lessons (such as beginning Clarinet, Saxophone, and Rhythm and Music Exploration for young students), all have a strong emphasis on students becoming well-rounded musicians. While covering the foundations of Music Reading, Rhythm, Music Theory, and Technique. Jacki also encourages her students to explore Improvisation, Music Composition, and all performing opportunities.


With a passion for and a background in Special Education and Expressive Arts Therapies, Jacquelyn offers specially designed lessons and sessions for the greater community as well as individuals with disabilities. For these special sessions, please inquire.


In her performing duo, “Wyndsong,” Jacki enjoys playing a crossover of Classical, Improvisational, World and Jazz music on her Flute, Native American Flutes and a collection of instruments. Jacquelyn’s CD “Lyrical Breezes” released in 2013 is a relaxing sound of improvised and original melodies; a magical interchange between Flute, Native American and Dizi Flutes and the Sounds of Nature.
